RMS Bar Prep System

Using an RMS Bar Prep System, rebar facilities can reduce shakeout time on their shearlines by as much as 30%.

The bar prep system can be adapted to most shearlines and easily added to existing RMS Shearlines.

This system was specifically designed to eliminate much of the exhausting labor of shaking out rebar from the load legs to the preload conveyor. This system uses an air suspension system instead of rigid load legs. The air suspension allows the vibrator motors to shake the rebar and untangle the most difficult bundles quickly. The operator can control forward or reverse vibrator controls to guide the bar toward the conveyor on both sides for right and left flows. A dual lever design allows the operator the ability to control the front and rear bag heights independently.
