RMS RADIUS Machine Controller

The RMS Radius Machine Controller combines a simple entry keypad with a bright sunlight-readable display to give the operator absolute control over the radius bender. The controller can store and recall bend data to help the operator setup faster.

The radius roll positioning is achieved with a high degree of precision by using a 2-speed method. The roll will move at a high-speed until it approaches the target position. Close to the target position, the roll will switch to low speed until the target is reached. This method retains accuracy and allows consistent radius bending every time.

A release function on the controller allows the radius roll to backup a small amount to make removing workpieces easy.
